Made from richly grained shesham wood, the compact board opens to reveal a classic chess layout with pegged pieces that fit securely into small holes in each square, keeping every move in place even when playing on the go.
Each piece, from king to pawn, is carefully carved and fitted with a peg so the game remains steady during travel. When the match is finished, the board folds neatly on its hinges to form a compact storage box where all the pieces are safely tucked inside. The finished board measures 6 square inches, making it easy to slip into a bag or suitcase for games wherever inspiration strikes.
