This single deck of 52 playing cards celebrates ornithologist Robert Ridgway’s remarkable 1886 color swatches, originally created to standardize the description of birds’ plumage. Each card has been individually designed by Roomytown’s studio in Bath, England, drawing from Ridgway’s rich and varied palette to create a deck that feels both distinctive and thoughtfully crafted.
The set includes a standard 52-card deck plus 2 jokers, all housed in a portable pull-drawer box that gives it a polished, gift-ready finish. Measuring 4.1 x 3.0 x 1.2 inches, it is compact enough to travel easily while still feeling substantial in hand.
