A flour sack tea towel featuring hand-painted watercolor illustrations of regional red and green chile varieties grown in New Mexico, with each pepper labeled in hand lettering across the top and bottom. The lightweight cotton fabric works well for drying dishes, lining a bread basket, or hanging in the kitchen, and the direct-to-garment printing keeps the color clear through repeated washing. 20x29"
The artwork is reproduced from original watercolor paintings and lettering rather than digital illustration, giving each chile variety its own distinct shape and color variation. A corner loop makes it easy to hang between uses.
