Midori MD Notebook | A5 Grid
The Midori MD Notebook is built around a single priority: the writing experience. MD Paper — developed in-house since 1960 and continuously improved since — is bleed-resistant, feather-resistant, and fountain pen friendly. The grid format features a 5mm square grid based on old Japanese manuscript paper, characterized by small gaps between the squares, with markers every five or ten squares for easy counting. The light blue grid lines do not distract from writing or sketches. The thread-stitched binding lies completely flat, and a colored ribbon marker keeps your place. The softcover design exposes the cheesecloth spine — a deliberate choice that keeps focus on the paper. Index stickers included.
80gsm MD paper. 176 pages. 5.8" × 8.3". Ribbon bookmark. Index stickers.
Midori is based in Tokyo, Japan. Made in Japan.

Wrapped just for them
Handmade papers. Silk ribbon. A color or two that feels like them. Every gift we wrap is dressed by hand, one piece at a time — never the same twice. Tell us the occasion, the colors, who it's for, and we'll put together a quote before your order ships.
